Sterling Capital Funds - Ultra Short Duration Bond Etf

SCUB constructs an ultra-short duration fixed income portfolio primarily composed of high-quality securities, including government and agency debt, investment grade corporate bonds, securitized assets, and short-term instruments. The strategy targets a duration of 18 months or less, and a weighted average maturity generally between zero and 24 months, aiming to limit sensitivity to interest rate movements while maintaining income potential. Portfolio construction follows a top-down framework, with sector allocation and duration positioning guided by macroeconomic trends, interest rate expectations, and relative value opportunities. Individual security selection is driven by fundamental analysis, including evaluation of issuer strength and structural features such as prepayment and extension risk. The fund may also utilize derivatives for hedging and efficient exposure. The fund converted from a mutual fund to an ETF with approximately $21 million in assets.
