The company was formerly known as Hubei Sanonda Co., Ltd. and changed its name to ADAMA Ltd. in December 2018. The company was founded in 1945 and is headquartered in Jingzhou, Hubei. ADAMA Ltd. is a subsidiary of Syngenta Group Co., Ltd.
