It invests in underlying funds that invest in common stock or securities convertible into or exchangeable for common stock, including the stock of foreign issuers. The fund typically invests approximately 50% of its total assets to equity securities (with the allowable range set at approximately 30-70%) and approximately 50% of its total assets to fixed income securities (with the allowable range set at approximately 30-70%).
