SHYM Stock - iShares Short Duration High Yield Muni Active ETF

SHYM invests in income-generating US municipal bonds that are exempt from federal alternative minimum tax, which have maturities of five years or longer. While the fund may invest in bonds of any credit rating, HYMU intends to invest 65% or higher in high-yield bonds. Bonds considered as distressed securities may take up 20%, if management perceives that they offer potential for higher returns. HYMU, as an actively managed fund, may make certain investment decisions at their discretion to meet its objectives. Prior to October 10, 2024, the fund used Blackrock for branding purposes instead of iShares. BlackRock High Yield Municipal Fund (ticker: MAYHX) has merged with HYMU, holding $812.8 million in assets. Prior to February 10, 2025, the fund traded under the ticker HYMU.
