EA Series Trust - Defined Duration 20 ETF

DDXX is designed to maintain a 20-year portfolio horizon by applying a defined duration framework to global stocks. Unlike traditional market-cap weighted indices, the fund measures the expected time it takes for different markets and styles to deliver real returns, similar to a bonds duration. The analysis uses factors such as valuations, interest rates, GDP growth, inflation, and expected drawdowns. Based on this assessment, DDXX allocates across developed and emerging market equities, blending broad-based ETFs with factor- and style-focused ETFs. The funds algorithm updates monthly and applies time-weighted rebalancing to adjust allocations as durations shift. It trims expensive long-duration exposures when markets are elevated and increases them when expected returns improve. Aggressive allocations consist of growth, momentum, small-cap, and emerging-market stocks, while conservative allocations include value, large-cap, and developed-market equities.
