These include obligations issued by federal, state, and local governments, along with their associated agencies and instrumentalities; mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities; various corporate debt offerings; repurchase agreements; and other financial instruments exhibiting similar debt-like characteristics. Furthermore, the fund has the discretion to allocate up to one-fifth of its total assets to higher-yielding, below-investment-grade corporate bonds.
