This passively managed exchange-traded fund (ETF) seeks to deliver substantial monthly income by investing in a concentrated portfolio of 30 U.S. municipal bond closed-end funds (CEFs). These underlying investments typically offer the advantage of being exempt from ordinary U.S. federal income taxes. Fund selection follows a systematic, index-based methodology involving a two-stage screening process. Criteria for inclusion assess factors such as a minimum asset base, sufficient trading volume, attractive yield compared to the wider market, their trading price relative to Net Asset Value (NAV) – specifically focusing on discounts – and an upper limit of 6% on the expense ratio. Subsequently, eligible CEFs are ranked according to a composite score, with the highest-scoring 30 selected for inclusion in the index. Each fund's proportional representation within the portfolio is dictated by its relative yield, while also adhering to specific diversification and liquidity safeguards.
