BUIL is actively managed and seeks capital appreciation by investing in public equities of companies involved in US infrastructure rebuilding. It targets firms deriving at least 50% of revenues or assets from US infrastructure sectors, including energy, water, communications, transportation, and social infrastructure. The portfolio typically holds 15-25 US-listed equities, including ADRs, with a focus on large- and mid-cap companies. Using bottom-up analysis in the selection process, the fund applies a three-factor methodology: (1) screening for quality based on free cash flow multiples, earnings, and revenue growth rates, (2) assessing demand related to infrastructure spending, and (3) evaluating risk/reward dynamics. Holdings may also be adjusted intraday to respond to thematic developments.
