Furthermore, COPEL possesses exclusive concessions for electricity distribution across various municipalities within the State of Paraná, as well as the city of Porto União in the State of Santa Catarina. Established in 1954, Companhia Paranaense de Energia (COPEL) maintains its corporate headquarters in Curitiba, Brazil.
