Earnings season is the period when many public companies report quarterly results. In the U.S., the busiest stretch often begins a few weeks after each calendar quarter ends. Timing varies by market and by each company’s fiscal year.

EPS means earnings per share. EPS and revenue estimates are consensus expectations based on analysts’ forecasts before a company reports. These estimates can change as analysts update their views.

An earnings surprise compares a reported result with the corresponding consensus estimate. On this page, a positive surprise means the result was above the estimate and a negative surprise means it was below. A beat does not necessarily cause the stock price to rise.

Before open means a company is expected to report before regular trading begins in its primary market. After close means it is expected after regular trading ends. Time TBD means no release session has been confirmed in the available data. Calendar dates on this page are shown in UTC.
