The Allspring SMID Core ETF (ASCE) is an actively managed fund primarily focused on investing in equity securities of small and medium-sized U.S. companies, generally aligning with the constituents of the Russell 2500 Index. Up to one-fifth (20%) of its total assets may be directed towards foreign companies operating in developed markets, including American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). The fund's investment strategy integrates sophisticated quantitative analysis with in-depth qualitative evaluation. This dual approach aims to identify businesses that are believed to be undervalued and possess strong prospects for future earnings growth. The quantitative component utilizes a proprietary alpha model to systematically rank securities based on valuation metrics, financial quality, and price momentum. ASCE maintains a concentrated portfolio, typically comprising around 50 holdings, diversified across various key sectors.
