CIVG tracks an index of US dollar-denominated investment-grade corporate bonds issued by US and non-US companies. Eligible bonds must be rated BBB-/Baa3 or higher, have between one and five years remaining to maturity, and meet the indexs eligibility requirements. The index uses a market value-weighted methodology and is rebalanced monthly. The fund seeks to maintain a weighted average maturity of three years or less and currently has significant exposure to issuers in the financials sector. The portfolio is designed to represent the short-term segment of the US dollar investment-grade corporate bond market.
