GANZ uses a proprietary thematic process to identify macro-level trends and select companies that may benefit directly or through successive layers of suppliers. Security selection considers competitive advantages, such as market share and proprietary technology, alongside potential returns relative to valuation, downside risks and identifiable catalysts. The portfolio generally uses modified equal weighting, with allocations adjusted based on each holdings thematic relevance, competitive position and potential return profile. The Fund also uses exchange-listed options to obtain exposure or hedge downside risk, including call options for leveraged exposure and put options for protection or bearish positioning. Holdings may span multiple sectors, market capitalizations and countries, and the Fund may temporarily hold defensive assets when market conditions are unfavorable. It is non-diversified and may have significant exposure to particular companies or themes at different times.
