LBOX seeks capital appreciation by utilizing a box spread options strategy as an alternative to money market funds and short-term fixed income investments. A box spread combines a synthetic long position, created through the purchase of a call option and sale of a put option, with an offsetting synthetic short position at a higher strike price, resulting in a market-neutral position with a fixed payoff at expiration. By locking in a return regardless of the underlying reference asset's price movement, the strategy is designed to generate T-bill-like yields with minimal market exposure. The ETF invests in exchange-listed options, including both traditional and FLEX Options, referencing diversified ETFs such as the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust and Invesco QQQ Trust, and maintains a portfolio of Box Spreads, with an expected average effective maturity of approximately three months. Importantly, the ETF is managed with the intention of avoiding annual income distributions to shareholders.
