Valued Advisers Trust - m+ DynaBuffer ETF

MPDB invests in unfunded total return swaps to provide exposure to the HSBC DynaBuffer US Large Cap Index (Buffer Index). The actively managed ETF targets 10% downside buffer resetting quarterly and generate 1.5x enhanced exposure to SPY. The Buffer Index comprises 156 synthetic buffer notes, each providing buffered and capped exposure to SPY through put and call options, with a new note added weekly. Each note includes a call spread with a 3-year term and a short put spread with a 3-month term, with the put spread reset quarterly to refresh the downside buffer. Each buffer note may have different outcomes. The laddered structure creates staggered entry points to maximize upside participation while providing downside protection. Exposure is obtained through swap agreements with counterparties selected by the adviser. The fund also invests in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term US Treasuries. The fund may invest up to 25% in a wholly owned Cayman Islands subsidiary.
