Time to reach 1 trillion valuation

As shown in the figure, it shows how long it takes for US stock companies to cross one trillion. The fastest is Meta, which took only 9 years, while Berkshire took 44 years.

This leads to a question, how to get rich quickly. The so-called getting rich quickly means getting rich quickly in a short period of time.

Although everyone says that they should be friends with time and take it slowly, in their hearts, I think most people have the dream of getting rich quickly.

The above example tells us that if you want to get rich quickly, the fastest way is to concentrate risks and focus on a single thing, such as holding Nvidia.

And Berkshire, a diversified diversifier, is much slower.

In fact, all rational financial knowledge tells us that it is irrational to concentrate risks. Unless you are completely ignorant, it is difficult to take the initiative to move towards concentrated risks.

This forms an interesting conclusion. If you want to get rich quickly, you must be ignorant, concentrated and lucky.

I have shared before that the US stock market has been driven by 4% of stocks in history. If you are not lucky enough to choose this 4%, then your long-term median return will be negative.

Everyone is shrouded in luck. If Apple is not held, Berkshire's one trillion may not be seen in his lifetime.

So, in a sense, each of us faces the question of rationality, luck, and concentration, none of which can be missing. Absolute rationality and concentration, if luck is not on your side, the result is still hard to be optimistic. Even if you are ignorantly concentrated, as long as luck is on your side, you can still get rich by playing the lottery.
