OpenAI Unveils Full o1 Model + $200 ChatGPT Pro – Is It Worth the Price?

Day 1’s big reveal: The latest and greatest in their AI lineup, the o1 model, is finally out of the preview phase and into its full glory. Alongside this, they’ve introduced a brand-new ChatGPT Pro subscription that gives users access to a range of powerful features, including unlimited use of the o1 model and its upgraded Pro version.

 

 

Compared to its preview version, the full o1 model is significantly faster—OpenAI claims it's 50% quicker at answering questions. This means faster responses overall, especially for more straightforward queries. On top of that, the model's error rate has dropped by 34%, which makes it more accurate in interpreting and generating answers. This is especially noticeable when tackling complex topics like scientific inquiries or advanced coding problems.

 

But that’s not all! The o1 model now supports image input, which is a huge upgrade.
