The public continues to spread the idea that AGI will be realized in the next 1-2 years.
Ethan Mollick, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, warned the public to be cautious about this idea because it might be motivated by the desire to raise capital or boost stock valuations while ignoring the limitations of current AI technology itself.
