JD.com to Provide Social Insurance and Housing Fund for Delivery Riders.

 

Starting March 1, 2025, JD.com will gradually start contributing to social insurance and housing funds for full-time delivery riders, while offering accident insurance and health insurance to part-time riders. Following its previous initiative of providing social insurance for couriers, JD.com is once again leading the way by offering similar benefits to its food delivery riders. The company aims to collaborate with various sectors of society to further improve riders' rights and benefits.

 

In addition, JD.com launched the recruitment for "Quality Dining Restaurant Merchants" on February 11. Merchants who join the platform before May 1, 2025, will be exempt from commission fees for the entire year. The initiative aims to cater to consumer demand for safe and high-quality food delivery, with only restaurants offering quality dining experiences eligible for recruitment. Interested merchants can apply through the JD.com app by searching for "Food Delivery Enrollment." JD.com will provide full support to help these merchants benefit from the platform.
