Li Xiang: Confident in Li Auto’s AD Max vs. Tesla FSD; Tesla Responds

Li Xiang, CEO of #LI Auto, took to Weibo today to express his confidence in the capabilities of Li Auto's AD Max system, especially in comparison to Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology. He shared a personal anecdote about becoming one of China’s first Tesla owners ten years ago, highlighting that Tesla has long been a benchmark for Li Auto in the intelligent electric vehicle sector.

 

Li further emphasized that Li Auto is ready for a nationwide comparison with Tesla FSD, inviting media and key opinion leaders to test the systems across the country. He also mentioned that the upgraded AD Max V13, powered by a model trained on 10 million Clips, would be rolled out tomorrow, signaling a new level of performance. "I’m confident in the comparison between AD Max V13 and Tesla FSD V13,” he declared.

 

In response, Tesla’s official Weibo account celebrated the new Model Y deliveries and reiterated, “As always, feel free to compare—one test is all it takes to know the difference.” This statement underscores Tesla’s confidence in the updated version of its vehicle and its self-driving technology.
