Q4 Revenue Hits New High! Earning $420,000 per Second! NVIDIA Responds to DeepSeek! This Earnings Report is Full of Highlights

The AI companies that are "mining for gold" are losing money badly, while NVIDIA, the one "selling shovels", is making a fortune.
On February 27th, after the close of the US stock market, NVIDIA released its fourth-quarter financial report and annual report for fiscal year 2024.
In the past year, NVIDIA's revenue reached a record $130.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 114%, equivalent to twice that of Intel ($53.1 billion), three times that of Qualcomm (revenue of $38.96 billion in fiscal year 2024), and five times that of AMD ($25.79 billion).
After adjusting according to Non-GAAP, NVIDIA's gross profit margin is as high as 75.5%, and its net profit reaches $74.27 billion, closely chasing Microsoft, Google and Apple.
Although the popularity of DeepSeek has caused a decline in US chip stocks and NVIDIA has received several short reports, CEO Jensen Huang is still confident.
At the earnings conference call, Jensen Huang said that artificial intelligence is evolving from "generative" to "inferential", and DeepSeek-R1 has triggered research on inferential AI among various companies. This will not only not reduce the use of GPUs, but will instead bring more demand to NVIDIA.
Q4 Revenue Hits New High!
NVIDIA's total revenue in fiscal year 2025 soared to $130.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 114%, and its annual net profit reached $72.88 billion, a year-on-year increase of 145%, which is equivalent to an average daily income of $360 million and $420,000 per second.

The core segment supporting NVIDIA's financial report is still the data center business, with a Q4 revenue of $35.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 93%, accounting for 91% of the total revenue.
Among them, the Blackwell architecture GPU contributed $11 billion in revenue, accounting for 31% of the data center revenue. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang described the market demand for the new Blackwell chip as "amazing".
In terms of other segments, the revenue of the gaming and AI PC business was $2.5 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 11%. The revenue of the automotive and robotics business was $570 million, a year-on-year increase of 27%. Although the current proportion is not high, Jensen Huang regards it as "the main battlefield for the next decade".
This is also a man with a vision as forward-looking as Elon Musk.
NVIDIA Responds to the Strong Rise of DeepSeek

According to IDC data, in 2025, the proportion of self-developed chips in the AI chip expenditure of global cloud service providers will exceed 20%.
At the same time, in the Chinese market, due to US export control restrictions, the proportion of NVIDIA's revenue in China has dropped below 10%. More domestic GPU manufacturers in China are taking advantage of the situation to counterattack. It is reported that the Ascend 910B chip of Huawei has a penetration rate of over 60% in the reasoning of domestic large models, and its performance is close to that of A100.
With the rise of Trump, geopolitical relations face greater uncertainty, and NVIDIA is likely to permanently lose the world's largest incremental market.
As the Chinese DeepSeek large model becomes popular worldwide, its required AI computing power input cost is much lower, which has intensified market concerns and once caused NVIDIA's market value to evaporate by $589 billion in a single day, setting a market record.
Many market views also believe that the number of semiconductors required for AI development will be lower than previous predictions.
However, at the earnings conference call on the 27th, Jensen Huang said that artificial intelligence is evolving from perceptual and generative AI to inferential AI, and DeepSeek-R1 has sparked global enthusiasm, and its "inference model has 100 times the computing power of (traditional models)".
In his view, the popularization of high-performance AI will bring more semiconductor demand.
Is NVIDIA worth buying now?
Let's take a look at NVIDIA's current stock trend chart.

The trend of NVDA is very obvious now. It has formed a triangular consolidation pattern at this position and will choose a direction around March 18th. What's so special about this date? It's exactly the GTC Conference.

NVIDIA's GTC annual conference will be held from March 17th to 21st, and the company's CEO Jensen Huang will deliver a keynote speech on March 18th. The market is concerned about whether Jensen Huang will talk about DeepSeek, the Sino-US tariff war, the progress of NVIDIA's GB300 server and other issues.
During the GTC conference, NVIDIA's stock price is more likely to rise than to fall.
In addition, the autonomous driving and robotics industries still have unlimited growth potential.
I think NVIDIA is still in its golden age.$NVDA
