Malaysia’s FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI rose 0.78%, ending at 1,567.86 points, while Singapore’s STI Index advanced 0.45%, closing at 3,908.10 points. In India, the S&P BSE Sensex gained 0.97%, closing at 73,699.27 points, and Indonesia’s Jakarta Composite Index jumped 2.20%, closing at 6,520.54 points as of 16:35 SGT.
