In other Asian markets, South Korea’s KOSPI rose 1.47%, closing at 2,574.82 points. Malaysia’s FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI lost 2.51%, reaching 1,481.96 points. Singapore’s Straits Times Index gained 0.15%, closing at 3,831.38 points. India’s S&P BSE Sensex fell 0.37%, finishing at 73,828.69 points, while Indonesia’s Jakarta Composite Index gained 1.70%, closing at 6,657.33 points as of 16:27 SGT.
