At the end of trading in New York, the US dollar index rose by 0.24% to 103.84. Most non-US currencies declined. The euro fell 0.32% against the US dollar to 1.0852, the British pound fell 0.08% against the US dollar to 1.2953, and the Australian dollar fell 0.59% against the US dollar to 0.6283.
