Thick smoke billowed from the crash site, and black smoke filled the air. Rescue teams have arrived at the scene. Based on the known on-site information, the fate of the people on board remains uncertain, and there may be significant casualties on the ground.

It is understood that the accident aircraft, registered as VT-ANB, is 11.5 years old. This is also the first full-loss crash of a Boeing 787 series aircraft globally.

Affected by this news, Boeing's U.S. pre-market stock price plummeted. As of press time, the decline expanded to 7%.
This year marks the 7th year since Boeing's decline from its peak in 2018. From $101.1 billion in revenue and $10.46 billion in net profit, it only achieved $66.5 billion in revenue in 2024 and has suffered five consecutive years of losses.
Just some time ago, Boeing received several large orders:
- In Saudi Arabia, AviLease, an aircraft leasing company under the Saudi Public Investment Fund, announced an order for 20 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, with an option to purchase an additional 10, potentially up to 30.
- In the United Arab Emirates, a $14.5 billion transaction commitment was reached among Boeing, General Electric Aviation, and Etihad Airways.
- In Qatar, Qatar Airways signed a $96 billion contract with Boeing and General Electric Aviation to purchase up to 210 Boeing 787 "Dreamliners" and 777X aircraft. As Trump put it, "This will be the largest order in Boeing's history."
These new orders gave Boeing some breathing room, and its stock price rebounded continuously. However, the recurrence of the accident means Boeing may face a new round of public opinion crisis.
