Management Outlines Growth and Profitability Strategy

Forrest Li, Sea's Chairman and CEO, emphasized the company's continued focus on growth across all three businesses, Shopee, Monee, and Garena. He stated that the strong performance in the first half of 2025 provides confidence for another successful year and highlighted the intent to prioritize growth to maximize long-term profitability while also improving current profitability.

 

The company also raised its full-year guidance for Garena, expecting bookings to grow more than 30% in 2025 year-over-year. Management reiterated its commitment to delivering strong, profitable growth in e-commerce, reinforcing market leadership in Asia and Brazil, and expanding the digital financial services loan portfolio while maintaining high asset quality.
