Elbit Systems (ESLT.US) reported strong financial results for Q2 2025, with non-GAAP net income reaching $151.0 million, an increase of 62.9% from $92.7 million in Q2 2024. Revenues for the quarter were $1,972.7 million, up 21.3% compared to $1,626.2 million in the same period last year. Non-GAAP diluted earnings per share were $3.23, significantly exceeding the analyst estimate of $2.57, reflecting strong performance and increased activity.

Strong Segment Performance

The company's diverse segments contributed to the robust revenue growth. Land revenues saw a substantial increase of 45%, driven by higher ammunition and munition sales in Israel and Europe. Aerospace revenues grew by 12%, primarily due to increased Precision Guided Munition (PGM) sales in Israel and Asia Pacific, along with higher UAS sales in Europe.

C4I and Cyber revenues increased by 21%, largely attributed to radio systems and command and control systems sales in Israel and Europe. Additionally, ISTAR and EW revenues rose by 15%, propelled by Electro-Optic systems sales in Israel and Electronic Warfare systems sales in Europe.

Management Outlook and Strategic Focus

President and CEO Bezhalel Machlis highlighted that Elbit Systems continues its upward momentum, driven by sustained demand for its proven technologies and solutions. The company's long-term strategy and investments have positioned it for continued future growth, leveraging strong domestic and global demand.

Elbit Systems' robust presence in Europe, established through subsidiaries, production infrastructure, and strategic partnerships, has been instrumental in securing major contracts. The current order backlog stands at $23.8 billion, with approximately 68% attributable to orders outside of Israel, indicating strong international demand.

Operational Resilience and Challenges

Despite ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, the majority of Elbit Systems' facilities in Israel continue to operate uninterrupted. The company experienced a material increase in demand from the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD), which could lead to further significant orders.

However, some operations faced disruptions due to supply chain and operational constraints, including increased transportation costs from Red Sea attacks, material shortages, and limitations on exports to Israel. The company has implemented measures such as increased monitoring of global supply chains and maintaining elevated inventories to mitigate these challenges and ensure business continuity.
