Futu Reports Strong Q2 2025 Revenue and Profit Growth
Futu (FUTU.US) announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2025. The company reported total revenues of HK$5,310.9 million (US$676.6 million), marking a 69.7% increase year-over-year. Non-GAAP adjusted net income reached HK$2,659.8 million (US$338.8 million), up 105.2% compared to the second quarter of 2024. This performance surpasses the analyst EPS estimate of 16.61, with a reported diluted net income per ADS of HK$18.24 (US$2.32).

Strong Operational Growth and Client Engagement
Futu demonstrated significant operational growth, with the total number of funded accounts increasing by 40.9% year-over-year to 2,877,126 as of June 30, 2025. Total client assets surged by 68.1% year-over-year to HK$973.9 billion, driven by robust net asset inflows and favorable market gains in Hong Kong and U.S. equities. Daily average client assets also rose by 59.9% from the same period in 2024, indicating strong client activity and trust.
Trading volume experienced a substantial increase, with total trading volume in Q2 2025 growing by 121.2% year-over-year to HK$3.59 trillion. This surge was attributed to market volatility and high-profile IPOs, especially boosting retail sentiment in Hong Kong. The U.S. market also contributed solid growth, with U.S. stock trading volume increasing by 19.7% sequentially.
Expanded Product Offerings and International Presence
Futu continued to expand its product offerings and international footprint, launching crypto trading in most U.S. states in June to strengthen its one-stop trading platform. In Malaysia, the company enriched localized features such as IPO financing services and a stock earnings calendar. Futu also became the first online broker to offer principal-protected structured products to retail investors in Hong Kong and the first to distribute ChinaAMC (HK)'s tokenized money market funds, broadening its wealth management services.
The company also strengthened its brand image internationally, becoming an official sponsor of the New York Mets. In Japan, Futu partnered with Nasdaq and the Japan Exchange Group to host _MooFest Japan_, attracting over 12 thousand Tokyo investors and significantly raising brand recognition. These strategic initiatives underscore Futu's commitment to global expansion and diversified service offerings.
