Walmart Reports Strong Q2 2026 Revenue Growth, Raises Full-Year Outlook
Walmart (WMT.US) reported robust financial results for Q2 2026, with revenue reaching $177.4 billion, marking a 4.8% increase from the previous year. Adjusted EPS stood at $0.68. While the company's revenue growth exceeded analyst estimates of $174.38 billion, the adjusted EPS of $0.68 was slightly below the analyst estimate of $0.73 for the quarter.

Strong Global eCommerce and Advertising Growth
Global eCommerce sales experienced significant growth, increasing by 25%, driven by store-fulfilled pickup and delivery options and marketplace performance. This digital expansion contributed to a substantial acceleration in sales across all segments. Walmart's global advertising business also saw impressive growth, surging by 46%, with Walmart Connect in the U.S. alone up 31%.
Segment Performance Highlights
Walmart U.S. reported strong comparable sales growth of 4.6%, reflecting increased share in key categories and effective pricing strategies. This growth was aided by a 26% increase in eCommerce sales within the segment, with store-fulfilled delivery channels growing nearly 50%. Internationally, net sales (in constant currency) rose by 10.5%, led by strong performances in China, Walmex, and Flipkart, and an 22% increase in eCommerce sales.
Management Raises Full-Year Outlook
Building on these positive results, management has issued an optimistic outlook for the remainder of fiscal year 2026. The company now anticipates full-year net sales to increase by 3.75% to 4.75%. Adjusted EPS for fiscal year 2026 is projected to be in the range of $2.52 to $2.62, an increase from previous guidance.
