According to an official statement, the US SEC Crypto Task Force will hold an open roundtable on financial regulation and privacy from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday, October 17, at SEC headquarters. Following the “Spring Accelerating Crypto Clarity” roundtable series, the President’s Digital Assets Executive Order, and the Digital Assets Task Force report, Commissioner Hester M. Peirce has directed the task force to take additional steps to promote US leadership in digital assets and fintech while protecting economic freedom.
The roundtable aims to explore privacy-protecting technologies and delve into financial regulation policies. It is open to the public and will be held at 100 F Street, Washington, DC.
