U.S. Stock Market Top 20 by Trading Value: Alibaba Gets Bullish Calls from Multiple Firms
Tesla, the top stock by trading value on Monday, rose 0.64% with $34.928 billion traded. Reports said Tesla and Apple are exploring glass substrates to boost semiconductor chip and data center performance.
Insiders revealed both companies recently met with glass substrate developers, hearing tech overviews and discussing directions, though no contracts or deals are signed yet.
Nvidia, second in trading value, rose 2.05% with $34.905 billion traded. Reports say Nvidia is using new open models and simulation libraries to speed up robotics development.
The company also announced Monday that its open-source Newton physics engine is available on the Isaac platform.
Apple, third in trading value, fell 0.40% with $10.016 billion traded. Apple pushed iOS/iPadOS 26.0.1 update to iPhone and iPad users, version 23A355, 14 days after the last official release.
Applovin, sixth in trading value, rose 6.34% with $8.455 billion traded. Oppenheimer raised its target price to $740 from $240, reiterating an “outperform” rating.
The big hike highlights confidence in Applovin’s non-gaming ad business and long-term growth.
Applovin raised its non-gaming revenue forecast to $312 million from $250 million. Oppenheimer also boosted overall revenue to $8.6 billion and adjusted EBITDA to $7.2 billion, implying an 83% margin.
Robinhood, seventh in trading value, rose 12.27% with $8.146 billion traded, after two days of declines.
Broadcom, tenth in trading value, fell 1.98% with $6.986 billion traded, marking three straight down days.
Intel, 15th in trading value, fell 2.87% with $5.201 billion traded. TSMC reiterated it hasn’t discussed investments or partnerships with any firm, denying reports of Intel approaching for funding or collaboration.
TSMC’s statement emphasized no talks on joint ventures, licensing, or tech transfers, echoing Chairman Mark Liu’s earlier comments on Intel cooperation.
Electronic Arts, 16th in trading value, rose 4.50% with $4.504 billion traded. Reports say a consortium led by Saudi Public Investment Fund, Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners will acquire the company for cash at a $55 billion enterprise value.
Coinbase, 19th in trading value, rose 6.85% with $3.962 billion traded, as crypto concept stocks broadly climbed.
Alibaba, 20th in trading value, rose 4.65% with $3.816 billion traded. Morningstar analyst Chelsey Tam said Alibaba’s cloud revenue should grow further with data center investments, language model adoption, and Nvidia partnership. Morningstar raised Alibaba ADR and H-share valuations 49% to $267 and HK$260, citing stronger cloud profits and AI growth.
Jefferies also raised its Alibaba target from $178 to $230 per share.
