U.S. Stock Market Top 20 by Trading Value: Nvidia Hits New High, Market Cap Tops $4.5 Trillion
Nvidia, the top stock by trading value on Tuesday, rose 2.6% to a record high, with $43.726 billion traded, pushing its market cap above $4.5 trillion.

Reports say CoreWeave, an emerging cloud service provider tied to Nvidia, disclosed a computing power supply contract with Meta worth up to $14.2 billion.
Nvidia, CoreWeave’s second-largest client and a shareholder, holds about 5% of CoreWeave pre-IPO, per its filing. Nvidia invested $100 million in CoreWeave and committed up to $1.3 billion over four years to lease back its AI chips.
Tesla, second in trading value, rose 0.34% with $32.383 billion traded. On September 30, Tesla announced plans to scale up its humanoid robot production, targeting a third-generation launch by late 2025 and mass production in 2026. CEO Elon Musk expects annual output of 1 million units by 2030.
Meta Platforms, third in trading value, fell 1.21% with $11.536 billion traded. The company convinced a San Francisco federal judge to dismiss an antitrust lawsuit alleging it maintained social media dominance through misleading user privacy policies.
CoreWeave, sixth in trading value, rose 11.70% with $9.803 billion traded. CoreWeave signed a $14.2 billion AI computing power deal with Meta, with payments due by December 14, 2031, and an option to extend to 2032 for extra cloud capacity.
Palantir, ninth in trading value, rose 1.99% with $7.791 billion traded, gaining 16.4% in September. Reports say Boeing will partner with Palantir to integrate AI into current and future defense projects and factories.
Robinhood, tenth in trading value, rose 4.72% with $7.076 billion traded. CEO Vladimir Tenev announced on X that Robinhood has entered the prediction market space, allowing bets on high-profile events like elections and sports, driving a 12% stock surge Monday. Clients traded over 4 billion prediction market contracts, with 2 billion in Q3 alone.
Eli Lilly, 16th in trading value, rose 5.02% with $4.658 billion traded. Reports say Lilly is in “active negotiations” with the Trump administration on drug pricing.
Pfizer, 19th in trading value, rose 6.83% with $4.081 billion traded, after reaching a drug pricing deal with the U.S. government.
President Trump announced at the White House Tuesday that the Pfizer deal will significantly lower U.S. prescription drug prices, aiming to end consumers bearing unfair costs for global drug R&D, saving taxpayers and consumers hundreds of millions annually.
Pfizer pledged to offer all prescription drugs at “most favored nation” prices to Medicaid and sell select popular drugs online at 50-100% discounts directly to consumers.
