NYMEX Gold Futures Hit $4,000/Ounce Milestone for First Time, Up Over 50% This Year

 

NYMEX gold futures broke the $4,000 per ounce mark for the first time in history, rising 0.55% intraday and soaring over 50% year-to-date. Spot gold also hit a record high at $3,976.94 per ounce.
