Management Outlook

Chairman and CEO Ron O’Hanley highlighted the strong performance, emphasizing disciplined execution against strategic priorities and the seventh consecutive quarter of positive operating leverage, excluding notable items. The company remains focused on innovation, evidenced by advancements in its Wealth Services strategy through a partnership with Apex Fintech Solutions, aiming to deliver a differentiated and fully digital custody and clearing solution.

 

O'Hanley also noted the record quarter for Management fee revenue and the launch of 39 new products in the Investment Management business, underscoring a commitment to offering differentiated client solutions. State Street returned $637 million of capital to common shareholders in the third quarter through repurchases and dividends, and increased its quarterly per share common stock dividend by 11% to $0.84, signaling confidence in sustained momentum and long-term growth.
