The growth in the third quarter was significantly driven by strong performances across its segments. UnitedHealthcare's revenues surged 16% year-over-year to $87.1 billion, primarily fueled by expansion in Medicare & Retirement and Community & State sectors. Domestically, UnitedHealthcare successfully served 50.1 million consumers, an increase of 795,000 year-over-year.
Optum also contributed to the overall revenue increase, with its revenues growing 8% year-over-year to $69.2 billion.
