CPRT Reports Q1 2026 Profit Increase, Revenue Misses Estimates
Copart (CPRT.US) reported its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, ending October 31, 2025. Other income played a significant role, with interest income, net, increasing by 17.5% to $53.5 million. Additionally, other income (expense), net, surged by 590.6%, contributing to a total other income of $56.4 million, a 25.5% increase year-over-year.
Segment Performance
The company's total service revenues and vehicle sales demonstrated mixed results across its segments. In the United States, total service revenues and vehicle sales increased by 0.5% to $952.6 million from $947.5 million in the prior year.
Internationally, total service revenues and vehicle sales experienced a 1.6% increase, reaching $202.4 million compared to $199.3 million in the same period last year. This growth was primarily driven by an increase in service revenues in the international segment, which rose by 7.9%.
