Segment Performance Drives Growth
The Communications Solutions Group (CSG) was a key driver of Keysight's strong performance, reporting revenue of $990 million in the fourth quarter. This represents an 11% increase over the prior year, primarily fueled by sustained investment in AI data center infrastructure, non-terrestrial network applications, and defense modernization initiatives.
The Electronic Industrial Solutions Group (EISG) also contributed positively, with revenue reaching $429 million in the fourth quarter. This segment saw a 9% increase over last year, reflecting solid growth in broad general electronics and leading-edge semiconductor solutions.
Share Repurchase Program and Management Outlook
Keysight's Board of Directors authorized a new share repurchase program of up to $1.5 billion of its common stock, effective immediately and replacing the previous program. This move underscores the company's commitment to returning value to shareholders and reflects confidence in its financial health.
Looking ahead, Keysight expects first fiscal quarter 2026 revenue to be in the range of $1.53 billion to $1.55 billion. Non-GAAP earnings per share for the first fiscal quarter of 2026 are projected to be in the range of $1.95 to $2.01, indicating continued optimism for future performance.
