These are US companies positioned to benefit from the development and deployment of technologies critical to US innovation, national security, and industrial leadership. Investments target eight key areas: autonomous systems, cybersecurity, defense technology, digital infrastructure, electronic components, nuclear and power storage, robotics, and semiconductors. The funds strategy seeks performance similar to a market cap-weighted index, which consists of approximately 120 pure-play companies operating across the eight focus areas. While the index serves as the framework for portfolio construction, the sub-adviser actively manages the fund using full replication or representative sampling. The sub-adviser also retains discretion over investment decisions, including buying or selling non-index securities, investing in IPOs, and allocating up to 20% of assets to non-index securities, private companies, and cash equivalents.
