TMGN is an actively managed ETF that aims to generate income through a daily covered call option writing strategy based on exposure to an index of the ten largest US technology or growth companies. The long stock exposure is fixed on a quarterly basis. The option strategy utilizes zero days to expiration (0DTE) index call options, where the ETF sells out-of-the-money call options each day in attempt to collect premium income, while also retaining the flexibility to use weekly options, put options, or multi-leg strategies during periods of heightened volatility. The daily call strategy caps the upside potential of the underlying securities at the strike price. The funds adviser uses a proprietary system to identify daily strike prices by analyzing market volatility, historical data, and other dynamic parameters, aiming to maximize theta decay, reduce time risk, and maintain flexibility to adjust positions as market conditions change.
