The Franklin ClearBridge Enhanced Income ETF aims to generate an elevated level of income from its equity holdings. It primarily accomplishes this by investing in shares that pay dividends. Additionally, to further enhance its income stream, the fund employs an options strategy involving the sale of U.S. exchange-traded call options, which are typically referenced to major U.S. large-capitalization equity indices, such as the S&P 500 Index.
