The fund's objective is to replicate the investment performance, prior to fees and expenses, of the Dow Jones U.S. Select Short-Term REIT Index. This index consists of U.S. publicly traded equity REITs whose portfolios are predominantly invested in sectors like apartment complexes, hotels, self-storage units, and manufactured home communities, which are known for having shorter-term rental agreements than REITs in other property sectors.
