BUSM aims for long-term total return on capital, primarily through capital appreciation, by investing in ultra-small companies. It considers ultra-small companies as those with market capitalization of less than $1 billion. The fund selects smallest 10% of stocks from a universe of US-listed companies. The fund may may exclude companies believed likely to underperform. The fund may incorporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) information, when available, in assessing securities. Although the actively managed fund seeks investments across various sectors, it may have significant positions in particular sectors.
