The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) aims to replicate the performance of the CRSP US Mega Cap Growth Index. It achieves this through a passively managed, full-replication strategy, meaning it invests in all constituents of the index. This provides investors with a straightforward and diversified avenue to gain exposure to the largest, growth-oriented companies within the U.S. market. For 75% of its total assets, specific investment limitations are in place: the fund is generally prohibited from acquiring more than 10% of the outstanding voting shares of any single company. Additionally, it typically cannot invest more than 5% of its total assets in the securities of any one issuer, unless necessary to closely align the portfolio with the target index's composition.
